It's that time of year again when the weather starts to cool off, the leaves on the trees begin to turn and fall, and we prepare for one of the most brilliant holidays ever: Halloween!
Back in July we planted pumpkin seeds in our backyard hoping we could grow our own. But it looks like we planted them too late -- they're thriving with vines and flowers, just no pumpkins. So Mommy packed us up and took us out to Washington Farms to pick our own. We got there and discovered that not only did they have pumpkins, but they had PIG RACING too!
And lots of other fun things to do.
Unfortunately all the good pumpkins had been taken so we picked a few small ones for our teachers, then headed home. Mommy says we'll have to get our carving pumpkins from the grocery store (who probably bought out all the good pumpkins from the farm). So be sure to stay tuned for the jack-o-laterns...

Three excellent posts. It seems you're both learning so much and having loads of fun. Lots of love, Paul x
Liam...you are a very nice brother to be so 'patient' with your sisters facination with piggys. I know you wanted to go see other things instead of waiting for the pig race, but that hug she gave you made it all worth while, didn't it? hahaha ok, maybe not but you're still a nice brother xoxoxo
