It's Snowing!

Not only did we get the day off from school (Lincoln's Birthday) but it snowed today! And it snowed A LOT! It was so pretty to look at coming down from the sky. Mommy was content to stay inside by the fireplace and drink hot chocolate, but we and Grammy couldn't wait to get outside to play.

Grammy showed us how to make and throw snowballs and catch snowflakes on our tongues. How a California girl became snow-savvy is a mystery. But we had fun. Even Scrappy came out to play.

Afterward we came inside and snuggled on the couch with Grammy, Papa, Scrappy, Mister and Buddy.

Our neighbors across the street built a gigantic snowman. We watched them build him (from the inside of our cozy house) then ran outside to take a picture when they were done.

Maybe the Winter Olympics will inspire Grammy and tomorrow she'll take us sledding!!!

I love the fact that Lucy has her tu-tu on in the picture in front of the snowman. That's my girl! And the grandparents are absolutely correct, the pictures are fantastic and they are lovely, lovely children. Just like their Mommy was (is).
Love Aunt Neannie

One more thing, I want to cuddle up with Grampa, Grammy, Scrappy, Buddy and Mister and the kids too! That is such a great picture! (But I don't see Buddy. Hmmm.)
Love again Aunt Neannie
