While The Lifeguard's Away...

Now that the summer is coming to an end, the lifeguards at our pool don't start until 4:30 in the afternoons (too late for us to go swimming). But the pool is still open - it's just swim at your own risk. We really like it because we're the only people there - we have the whole pool to ourselves.

We also like it because Mommy lets us do stuff that the lifeguards won't. Like going up the waterslide, running around the deck (only because the pavement is so hot), and jumping off the lifeguard tower.

Liam has been begging Mommy to let him jump for the longest time. Grammy talked her into letting us do it:

We're ready to be lifeguards. Ready to be rescued?

Little fish. Just like Grammy and Aunt Neannie were.

Great Liam and Lucy. You both can teach Nana how to dive when you come visit. Your mom and Aunt Tammy loved jumping off the big rock in our pool. Have fun sweeties.

How brave are you two - it's wonderful seeing you both so fearless in the water and just amazing that you are such good swimmers and only just 4. We are so proud of you and just can't wait to see you all.xxx
