Bouncy Balls

We all know Lucy is a bit of a pack rat - or shall we say, 'collector'. If you don't remember, go back and look at past blog entries. Even as a baby she's collected things.

For a while now she's been collecting little bouncy balls. They cost a quarter and they're sold next to the gum ball machines found at some of your finer restaurants and retailers (La Parrilla, Krogers, Walmart).

Sometimes there are tears when she doesn't get the color or pattern she was hoping for. Eventually she grows to love each and every one equally and appreciates their differences.

She carries them in one of her bags (another 'collection') and takes them out at least once a day to admire them.
























Grammy recommended displaying them in a glass bowl. Easier to see them that way. So today we went to Michaels and got her a ball bowl. It's actually quite fun to look at and brightens every room it's taken to.
























She's even loaned a few to Liam so he could start a collection of his own
