Papa thought it would be fun to take us (along with Grammy and Mommy) to a place called, Medieval Times (
http://www.medievaltimes.com/atlanta/abouttheshow.aspx) and he was right! We got up close and personal to a real live falcon, saw a massive owl (who could have eaten both of us for lunch), and enjoyed Shirley Temples and Roy Rogers in front of a HUGE fireplace.
We also got knight lessons in the arena (and because you had to be 5 we got to fib about our age).
Our section supported the green knight who turned out to be a bad guy. But he was a great fighter and won the jousting tournament. And guess who he gave the sash to? Of all the girls in the audience, he made Lucy the Queen of the Tournament. Boy did she blush. Liam was a bit disappointed the Green Knight didn't select him but fast-forward a day and finding the Golden Egg* made up for it.
