And The Rockets Red Glare...

This year we celebrated the 4th of July spending a few days at the beach on the Isle of Palms, South Carolina with Grammy, Papa, Aunt Candi and Mommy. We stayed at this really nice resort called Wild Dunes which was a hop, skip and a jump from the ocean and had loads of family-friendly amenities. The weather was spectacular and we split our days between the beach and the pool. We even got to stay up past our bedtime to watch fireworks from the beach though Lucy made it clear towards the end that she was ready to go to sleep. Fact is, we did so much we put ourselves to bed at the end of each day. Good times.

Is it a conflict of interest being half English and celebrating the 4th of July?
With Mommy
Salt water makes you really hungry.

Lucy loved the sand and even let Mommy bury her in it.

We rented 'big kid' bikes and rode them all by ourselves.

Aunt Candi does NOT want a kiss from Liam!
Ahhhhh. Best friends.
Whatever you do, don't look at the camera.
Enough pictures - can we get our suits on now?
