Everytime we pass the clubhouse pool Liam says, 'all gone' because it's covered up for the season. So no more swimming. Which is really sad because we're such water babies.
Then the other day, thanks to Aunt Sherrie, we got new swim suits. The kind with built-in floaters. Mommy thought we'd have to wait until summer to wear them but was then reminded of our gym's indoor pool. So yesterday we got to go swimming!
It's a zero-entry pool so we can waddle straight in, but we really liked jumping off the sides. And we discovered that with our floater-suits, we could jump deeper and deeper and just pop back up. We also experimented on our own with swimming on our tummies and kicking. Liam only tried it once then got a mouth full of water and didn't do it again. Lucy stuck to more shallow water and practiced over and over. Mommy wished she could have gotten it on video but she really had to watch us closely.
We can't WAIT to go back. We'll be doing the breast and butterfly strokes by summertime no problem!
