Viva Las Vegas!

Whoa! What a weekend. We just got back from Las Vegas and you know what they say? What happens in Vegas...gets posted onto our blog.

It was our Auntie Vickie's 40th birthday, and our Cousin Tara's 21st birthday. They live in Las Vegas (with Cousin Drew) and so the whole family (Auntie Candi, Uncle Mike, and Auntie Sherrie) flew out to celebrate. Grammy and Grandpa went too, and brought Mommy and us with them.

Here are the Top 10 highlights from our trip:

10) We Missed Our Flight...
...even though WE got to the airport 2 hours before take-off (our car seats take up too much room so no one can ever ride with us). Unfortunately Grammy and Grandpa weren't has anal as Mommy and met us at the airport 20 minutes before the flight - Grandpa made it. We did not.


9) The Looks On Other Passengers' Faces...
...as we boarded the next flight out. They were rolling their eyes and tckin' as we walked by. Talk about buzz kill. But we didn't let them spoil our first airplane ride. Nope, we were so excited that we fell asleep and slept the whole way there.


8) Mommy TOTALLY losing her cool...
...at the car rental place when they didn't have the car seats she requested (and re-confirmed twice). When they finally found some seats, she was informed that SHE had to install them. Then, an hour later when we were ready to go, they told her that our vehicle had a dead battery. Mommy's face got very very red. So did ours -- poor Grammy (we were really tired).


7) The whole gang...
...and warm bottles waiting for us at Auntie Vickie's house.


6) Strikes...
...was what Mommy was scoring when we all went bowling. It was her best game ever. She reckons it's due to her increase in bicep strength - lugging around two 15lbs-babies (in car seats) has its benefits.

5) Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus...
...was what Mommy and Grammy dressed us up as for our family Christmas photo. Doesn't seem right in October, in Las Vegas. But that's how our family rolls.

4) Free appetizers...
...because we had to wait for over an hour for a table at the Cheesecake Factory. We weren't bothered - we slept peacefully the entire evening in our rented car seats.

3) The Newcastle supporter...
...that Mommy scared off at the Fashion Show Mall. Daddy would have been proud. She spotted those black and white stripes a mile away and would you believe he gave her a thumbs down when she told him there was only one Keano? Pikey.

2) Big Papi...
...the Green Monster and other Boston Red Sox trivia as described to us by our Auntie Candi who kept us completely enthralled on the car ride home from our mall outing. She tells the BEST stories.

1) Spending Time...
...and getting to know our family even better. We are two lucky little monkeys.
