"Pet", "Love", "Tinker", "Cheeky"...

... these are new terms we heard a lot of from our Nanny, Grand Dad, Auntie Stephanie and Uncle Philip during their visit in meeting us for the very first time. We think they liked us!

Though his accent was a little difficult to understand at times, Grand Dad told us all about SAFC and what great footballers we're going to be as soon as we start walking. He's going to teach us properly. We're going to be way better than Beckham and Hamm.

And Nanny tells the most interesting stories and sings the lovliest songs. She's full of wisdom and gave Mommy some really good advice. Hopefully we'll grow up to be clever like our Nanny.

Even though we're still really young, we packed in some fun activities.

We did a lot of window shopping with Nanny and Mommy (no we did not buy any windows). Had lunch and dinner at some really trendy restaurants. Took our first plunge in Grammy and Grandpa's swimming pool. And saw scorpions, a terrantula and a snake at the Sonoran Desert Museum.

But the thing we enjoyed more than anything were the cuddles. Ohhhh the cuddles.
Actually, we enjoyed being fed too. Ohhhhh the bottles. Funny, when Mommy feeds us we just get milk. But when Nanny and Grand Dad feed us we get steak and ale pie, and fish and chips. Mmmmmm.

Not to be crude, but we think spending a week with us is the best kind of birth control out there. Don't get us wrong - Auntie Stephanie and Uncle Philip were naturals and really helped out a lot (though Auntie Stephanie would use a whole box of wipes for one diaper change - tee hee !!!!!!) but the crying really had to have worn them down. But when they're ready to be parents they are going to be AWESOME!

Anyway, our first meeting was fantastic - to say the least. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful and loving family. We were really sad to see everyone leave, but we're looking forward to their next visit.

Right, it's past our bed time so these two cheeky monkies are off to sleep - nigh-night.

Philip's mum says she's really pleased that we made Philip and Steph so tired 'cos she's not ready to be a granny yet.
