Hi Everyone! We are just about 2 1/2 months old now and life keeps getting more and more interesting.
Liam weighs 12lbs 6oz (5.6 kg) and is 23.8" (60.3 cm) long. We affectionately call him, 'Bubba'. He never passes up an opportunity to eat and very often finishes off what his little sister doesn't. He's REALLY chomping at the bit for some solids - literally - and if Grammy could have it her way, he'd be getting a little baby cereal mixed in with his milk. But, Mommy won't let her.
Lucy, our petite little flower, is now 10lbs 5 oz (4.7 kg) and 23" (58.4 cm) long. She still battles colic and can't put it away like her big brother. But boy does she try - she just doesn't know how to pace herself and ends up spitting up half of what she eats. Grammy teased that she has 'baby bulemia'. Mommy did not think that was funny. Mommy is such a little worry-wort. She needs to lighten up a bit.
We are starting to smile and giggle now. That started for the first time about a week ago. Mommy says that it is the most heart-warming thing she's ever seen in her entire life and because of that we try and do it more and more.
Grammy and Grandpa really get a kick out of our smiles too. They're always making the funniest faces at us so we've got good material to work from.
We also have very quick tempers and excellent lung capacities. If we're the least bit hungry, tired, bored or merely trying to poop - you can count on a good fit from us. Jeckyl and Hyde really. Content one minute, outraged the next. And we tag-team so when Mommy settles one of us, the other one starts. Poor Mommy (and Mister and Elcie and Scrappy and the neighbors...) Sometimes she puts us in the car, drives over to Grammy and Grandpa's, parks down the street, then calls them to say, 'she's in the neighborhood and that she'll stop by'. Then we end up staying all day. But they don't seem to mind.
Right, it's that time of the day: Starbucks drive-thru window. Uncle Mikey sent Mommy a generously-loaded SB gift card and boy does she know how to use it. She says it's her moment of Zen. It probably doesn't shock you that they know her drink without even seeing her: Iced Venti Americano with Whole Milk, One Packet of Splenda and Extra-extra ice.
Catcha later,
Liam and Lucy

Happy Babies
PS - Ignore Mommy's annoying parentese talk in the video - it's something only we respond to...
