Well, we made it through four months of preschool with flying colors. Mommy was very apprehensive about sending us to school at such a young age but in the end discovered that it was the best experience for all of us.
Below are a few things we'll remember from our school term*...
LUCY:
- Adores Mrs. Cook and has picked up many of her sayings and mannerisms such as, 'no way!' and 'oh-kaaay?', and 'stop! leave me alone!**' and 'clean up, clean up, everybody clean up'
- Starts a project, finishes it and puts it back in its place (and is fantastic at puzzles)
- Learned a very unique way of putting on her jacket by herself
- Brought home daily art projects including "words" and a favorite, foam art (Mommy has saved them all if anyone wants to see them)

- Learned a very unique way of putting on her jacket by herself
- Brought home daily art projects including "words" and a favorite, foam art (Mommy has saved them all if anyone wants to see them)
- Has two favorite friends that she hugs and kisses: Topher and PJ (Mommy's a bit concerned)
- Was assigned class leader and responsible for leading the class out to the carpool line
- Greeted Liam with a big hug everyday after class (her stated best friend)
LIAM:
- Went to class hysterically kicking/screaming/crying to calming blowing kisses and singing, 'see you waitor, have a good day'
- Can name every student in his class
- Has become very talkative with good pronunciation of words
- Remembers EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING (nothing goes unnoticed)
- Gets a big grin when the name 'Marcella' is mentioned (they bonded)
- Became a fan of Buzz Lightyear even though he's never seen Toy Story (thanks to his pal Kristopher)
- LOVES playing outside on the tricycle at recess
- Greeted Lucy with a big hug everyday after class (his stated best friend)
From Picture Day at school - note Lucy's socks

Lucy's class picture. Lucy's in the back, fourth from the left. (Mrs. Cook [her teacher] is far left, Ms. Pritchett [TA] is far right, PJ ["friend one"] is front and center and Topher ["friend two'] is not pictured. Actually, a few students aren't pictured.

Liam with Mrs. Scott (holding him) and Mrs. Murphy (big crush). His class didn't take a class picture. Not sure why.

We will really miss going to school and seeing our teachers and friends, but we will see everyone again when we return in the Fall.
*These highlights may seem a little boring but Mommy doesn't want to forget them so she's documenting them here.
**There was a biting problem in Lucy's class (not involving Lucy) so Mrs. Cook was trying to teach the kids to stop the bite before it happens. Now Lucy shouts it all the time about everything. Mommy added in the word, 'please' to the beginning of the statement. Now Liam shouts it. In fact, Mommy even shouts it from time to time...
