Spring Visit

Nanny, Grandad and at the last minute, Aunt Stephanie ventured over for a spring visit. And because of the Iceland volcano's impact on air travel, we got to keep them for an extra week! What troopers they were. Always so happy to be with us even though we're 2.9 years old and often whiney, moody and stubborn creatures of habit.

Most of time we just played outside since it's spring and warm and sunny (and if there's sun, they're in it -- they don't get much of it in England :).

Nanny and Grandad came to our school and helped plant flowers in our class gardens. We really liked showing them off. And they got to see our school and meet our teachers, Mrs. Cook (Lucy's) and Mrs. Scott (Liam's).

We took a road trip to the Chatanooga Aquarium in Tennessee. Our favorite part wasn't the penguins, or butterflies or sharks but getting to play outside in the freezing cold water. It really doesn't take much to entertain us which of course is why dragged them to the pool several times during their visit as well.

We're just so lucky to have grandparents willing to take time off and travel so far to see us. We love them soooooo much. Hopefully they're enjoying some peace and quiet now that they're home. Of course that will all be disrupted in a few months when we make our way over for a visit. We can't wait...

Loved all the blog - we had such a wonderful time with you all and a huge thank you for your hospitality. We miss you soooo much and think Liam and Lucy are just the most gorgeous children and it's wonderful to see how their speech has developed since Christmas. Miss you all very much and thanks again for making us so welcome during our extended stayxxx Kath/Nanny
