Now that we're somewhat settled in our new home, we're getting out to see what Atlanta has to offer.
First we went to the Georgia Aquarium with Grammy, Grandpa and Mommy. We're probably still a little too young to fully appreciate all that it had to offer. And being confined to a stroller is pure torture when you're nearly two. But we did enjoy looking at all the fishies. Had we been given the opportunity, we would have been in those massive tanks trying to touch them all. Instead, we strolled along pointing and asking, 'That? That?' at everything we saw. The highlights were getting to shake fins with a walking Clown fish, almost touching a sting ray, sitting on Grandpa's shoulders and listening to Mommy and Grandpa debate whether a visit to an aquarium was a good idea at our age. We're probably going to grow up to become oceanographers because of it :)

Then today, Aunt Candi and Mommy took us to the Atlanta Zoo. We are finally starting to 'get' the zoo - animals live there! And we LOVE animals. Out of all our books, we like the ones with pictures of animals the best. And we can identify a lot of them (by pointing) and mimicking their sounds (we're good at roaring like lions). So we didn't squirm and whine as much in our stroller today because we were into the whole zoo experience. But we have to say our favorite part (besides seeing the those cute pandas) was the petting zoo. We got to brush some goats, pigs and sheep plus we got to walk around freely which is always a good thing for us. Oh, and then the playground. And a train ride. Ya, today at the zoo was a good time. We'll definitely be going back there again soon.
