Right, so Mommy and Grammy dragged us on yet another airplane - this time to LA. Not to bad - only an hour + trip. And we're pros now so no biggie - not for us anyway. Still takes Mommy forEVER to get things coordinated. Jeesh.
Anyway, we stayed with Aunt Neannie and Uncle Bob - completely turned their house up-side-down. But they never batted a lash. We know they love us to bits, but we know they probably weren't entirely upset to see us leave!!!
We saw sooooo many people while we were there.
Hung out with Opa and Nana. You know, it doesn't matter how many times - they are always so excited to see us. Makes us feel good.
Met up with Auntie Tammy and Cousin Jenna for a playdate at Jungle Land - we had way to much fun. Bummed that Uncle Joey and Cousin Tyler weren't there. Next time.
Headed down to San Diego where we met up with the Stephens' Family - Kevin, Margaret, Olivia and Luke (I am your father...). Mommy used to work with Kevin ages ago. Really nice people -- let us play with all their toys.
Then we met up with the usual suspects (Kim, Jen, Kathy, Liz, April and Mary - minus Koleen and Karen) their significant others and offspring (Kelly, Katie, Andrew, Tommy, Nicole, Grant, Marin, Devyn, and Taylor). Fun - understatement. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Keep them wanting more right?!?
After that we headed over to Shannon, Keith and Devon's for a wonderful home-cooked dinner. Shannon was Mommy's mentor, former boss, housemate, friend, etc. To know her is to love her - she rocks.
Great Auntie Yvonne and Great Uncle Dave hosted a fantastic BBQ for Memorial Day. They really know how to do it up right. Cousin Christopher, his new bride Katie and Cousin Kelly were there. Cousin Megan was finishing finals....at Harvard (and is now graduating - woo hoo).
So we had a very busy couple of days. We were sad to leave, but happy to come home to see Mister, Elcie, Scrappy and Grandpa (not in that order of course).

I thought it was funny that Mommy didn't bring any warm clothes for the twins. And it happened to be raining in Sunny Southern California that week end. So they had to go to Target and the kids lived in the sweatshirts she got them. Poor Mommy, we we all know how picky she is with their clothes! But, thank goodness for Target. And WE LOVED having our house turned up side down for them. Can't wait until the next time. But, oh wait, they will really be able to clime the stairs by then,(each of them made it once this time) and then we won't be able to contain their energy! Whew! But you gotta love them!

Although he is not yet 1-year-old, Liam is clearly a guy. We got him a toy truck while he was here and he played with it a lot. He loves wheels and is a very physical boy. This kid has the makings of a line backer: very tough, very macho. Lucy is a true foodie. She audibly vocalizes a satisfied "Mm-m-m-mm" sound when she eats, which both of them love to do. We had a lot of fun with them here. Love to all, Bob
