Dr. Seuss', The Cat in the Hat, was the inspiration behind our Halloween costumes...
Mommy, Grammy and Scrappy took us trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. But since we can't really eat candy yet, we handed out the treats - cupcakes!
Then we joined some of our playgroup friends at a party hosted at a retirement home for a few hours and had so much fun. They even had a costume contest and you know what? We won!!! And boy was the competition tough.
We are a little disappointed that we can't eat any of the candy we got. Mommy's sure enjoying it. Maybe next year when we have teeth...
P.S. Lucy was "Thing 1" and Liam was "Thing 2" in case you couldn't tell.

What a scream! Lucy is a chip of her old mom's block. I remember Nik giving us that look. She will have a great sense of humor. Just watch out Brother L for those practical jokes your mom was so famous for!
And it goes without saying, that Master Liam is as handsome as they come.

Oh man, those turned out GREAT!!! Love the feather hats (good job grammy!). And love those great expressions! Lucy looked a little shell shocked! (Kinda like Mister did on his first Xmas card! hee-hee!) and Liam looked to be all sport! Very very cute! Can't WAIT for the Xmas card this year! HA!

Nik, I showed Steve the costumes. He thought they were the best he has ever seen on any baby. You know what a compliment that is from my creative critic husband. Where on earth did you get the wigs? Gotta save those outfits in a special place for when are older.

Nikki, Great costumes, L&L are so precious just like their mom. We loved the group picture of everyone. The babies are so adoreable.Love the pictures with Liam laughing and Lucy she looks so serious.(like what the hek is mommy up to now?) Looking forward to seeing you and L&L on Thanksgiveing.
