...with a dog, two cats, and a mommy in one jam-packed mini-van. Then there was a grammy and a grandpa leading the way and not stopping for anything*. Of course there were MANY melt-downs along the way (New Mexico, Texas, Texas, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi) but we made it to Georgia (Johns Creek to be exact) in one piece. Straight up, we were little troopers.
And except for the mosquitos who constantly snack on us, we're liking this place. We love our new home. There are so many places to explore and everyday we find something new to get into.
The community we live in (Medlock Bridge) has two pools and two parks both within walking distance. It won't be long before we start swimming lessons. We (Mommy and Grammy) just need the water to be a little warmer.
Mommy has a long list of places to take us because Atlanta has loads of things to do with kids. And you'll be happy to know that there are two drive-thru Starbucks within a 4-mile radius of our home - we give them another week before they automatically know what her drink is.
Here are some pictures of us in our new digs...
With the Mommy outside in our new backyard. Grandpa later found a snake in that grass!!!
Lucy driving the car the wrong way - thinks she's in England :)
"That, that?"(There was an airplane in the sky)
The front lawn is a challenge. But then it's fun to fall and roll as long as we stay out of the street.
"Mommy, Lucy's eating my crayon again..."
"Too many stairs, must rest."
Everyone mows their lawns here Liam's trying to fit in by mowing the floors...
...and the steps.
But Lucy would rather work on a puzzle with some juice.
Taking a little break from mowing.
"How cool would it be if we could climb through these?"*We would have done it in 2 days if Grandpa had it his way. But Mommy and Grammy wore him down.
